Hey,
New member Tuscaloosa, Alabama area...
Been working on my 64 F100 shortbed a few months...
Was someone's unfinished project...
He had engine (292) rebuilt...
Detailed frame...
Gave me a three speed and 4 speed...
Couldn't pass it up for three bills...
Body in great shape other than someone had welded in a thick (about 3/8") plate steel in floor of bed...
I cut all that out just leaving the sides... Gonna build a frame that includes a notch I'll need...
So far installed a 03 Crown Vic front end...
Gonna do a four link rear...
Air ride all around... And I know... Not everybody's thing but to each his own...
It's gonna be matte black with all the aluminum trim I've been buying up lately...
Only thing I haven't located yet and they use to be abundant is a smooth aluminum tailgate protector...
