Did you get to see any of the Targa event?

Hi Guys. I was just wonderin who all else was in the NW. I am not the only slick on the island but pretty close. I only know of one thats on the road and one for sale in a scrap yard besides mine.
Still working on the transition from scrap to road worthy.

DocDave ,
I was watching that Targa race on TV and was just wondering if they let pick ups in that race and what clases were allowed and also the rules for the classes ? That race really " jerked a knot in my tail", Has my Curosity up . A good friend of mine , Ed Williams , was originally from the Island and he talks about it all of the time .

All your answers are there.
The problem with NF is, it is so damn far away. Okay if you're retired, but having a job like I do I can't afford the 3 weeks straight it would take to run that event (in addition to paying for it).

Well looking at your picture in your profile, it seems like your truck is not sure if it is coming or going. As long as you kept it in high gear you may get some where.

We could do Maine in a day and take the ferry over to NF.

Driving is only 63 hours and 2100 miles. I could do it on a few less tanks of gas than you!
