MINI SLICK EVENT @ TIM'S

We are planning a cookout at rhodyslick63s farm stand.
October 16, rain date 17th about 11:00-4:00
steak,chicken,baked potato,corn on the cob and whatever else we can think of.
bring your chairs, spouses and kids [there won't be much to do for the kids, but if this goes good we'll do it bigger next year with [hopefully more planning].
my computer is down at the moment so pm may take a bit.UPDATE 9/27 10:06 my computer is up-but I see my poll thing isn't working??9/28 PUTER DOWN AGAIN-CRASHED

jeez, had to reply again. i had such a blast this summer. if there were any way in hell i could be there i would. tim is a great host, and steve, john and josh are great company. plus for some reason, i really like the "new england" part of the country. maybe because it's so different from what i'm used to. plus i used to visit every three or so years when i was a kid. my pops had a place just a block from where my mom lives now in charlestown. many great memories there. love the breachway and charlestown beach, clabboard sided houses, and those dropped "r's".
if any of you guys ever make it to the midwest, kansas city specifically, i will put you up at a moment's notice. the beers and bbq are on me!

I am looking forward to mini slick stock at Tim's. I will be taking my '66.
My wife and my dawda will be a little late so day will take da cah and pahk it in Tim's yod.

Cool and windy! Bundle up guys.

West wind with gusts up to 44mph. That means 50+ at the farm.

Hard to light the kingsford in that wind!

Excellent time again, steaks and budadas good. Macroni salad next time too.
Nice without gale forced winds today, spent the entire day on the backhoe stumping for MY mini slick stock next year. :steering: Josh,John and Joanne and Michelle, great seeing yas again.
