I always wondered. I only ever see frank66 and once in a while a couple others.

I've told a few people about us, but it looks like none of them have joined... yet. Or maybe I scared them away and they all moved out of state before they joined?

I graduated from Allegany NY in the southwestern part of NY. The perennial rustbelt. Heck my 2001 is almost totally rusted away from living in that area! (Just across the border in PA). If a slick was sitting in a field you most likely would need a bucket to get it out.

good one Jason, I find it very funny that I did not know about slick's or slick 60's until I brought my 390 marauder engine to Tom Thatcher in Ticonderoga N.Y. for him to rebuild it for me. He is the reason I have a unibody today. He had a short bed uni w/a 390 FE and a 4 speed. It was all in primer and was pretty rusty but he let me drive it and I was hooked. He would not sell me his (he gave it to a nephew) I went looking for a uni and eveyone I found locally was in bad shape. When a fellow @ work told me about a truck for sale on a trailer by the side of the road with the words UNIBODY in the window, I had to go look right away. That was in 2006. But there must be slicks up north, Tom told me he took his to a big rod show in Syracuse and ther were lota of slicks...........Dave

Well, I grew up in Utica and lived in Syracuse until '98... but it seemed like most of what you saw up there were Chevys or Fords with Chevy engines in them.. I even had a '52 5-window Chevy half ton before I moved here...
