A treat for those not attending ss4

Post by PFM-64f100 »

At SS#3 the bigest request I heard from people not attending was live or semi live pictures of the event. I have a treat setup now for all those not attending and ones who do attend that have internet access.

Using my Iphone I can take pictures then upload them to my web site. Painless process just got to keep my batter charged. :D

This is the link to access my web site where the pictures will be stored. I have two examples diretories right now. sorry dialup people its gonna take a while to load pictures.

http://www.purpleflyingmonkey.com/ss4/default.asp

I will load the pictures into a folder with the date (aka Monday-08162010). To see the pictures just click on the folder name and it will display all pictures/video's in that folder.

I can upload video's as well but it's best to right click the video and choose "save target as" this way you can download them and then play.

As long as the 3g network holds I can upload the photos. If there is wireless access at the hotel (free) it will make things a lot faster.

If anyone (going to ss4) wants to upload photos via Iphone or computer please send me a PM and I will set you up an FTP account.

I can't wait less than 6 days away for me. I will be there thursday.

That sounds like too much trouble, I will just go to the event instead. Thanks, Lyman.

"Pass me a cold one" works better for me than "Film at 11" So I guess I have to go too.
It's a race.. Will hell freeze over or will JC finish his truck first. Stay tuned..

Kid

Thanks for all the pictures looking forward to making one of these in person. Plans for this year fell through. One of my customers failed to come through with money owed so will start a savings account for the next one for sure. Hopefully it will be a little further west but it doesn't matter.

Thanks, for the pics. Jealous I'm not there. I see Kid and Mike at the parts store. We had one in walking distance in 06', ran them out of fuel filters.
