Finally! I am Home.

Post by Michelle »

As some of you know I stayed around until Monday to get some get some tune up work done on the N. After everyone left on Sunday Alan followed me over to a friends shop about a mile from the hotel where I left my truck. He took me back to the hotel where I hung out most of the day with Alan and Lyn. About three in the afternoon Tom's son TJ come by and picked me up and I spent the night with them and TJ droped me by the shop on his way to work. With the tune up complete I hooked up and left the shop about three thirty in the afternoon. I arrived home last night (Tuesday) about ten thirty. Needless to say I was a tired camper. Slick Stocks are fun, but it is always great to get back home. I think I was the last one to get home after SS. I think even Alan and Lyn beat me home.

Thanks guys, its the good people like yourselves that makes events as this such a success. I truly enjoyed meeting all of you and thanks a million Chris for hauling the parts I got from you to SS.

Brian, my friend Tom really enjoyed talking with you and he was very impressed with your knowledge of slicks. You and he think a lot alike. He has a farm about ten miles from Indianola and has a lot of old trucks about the place.
