Something completely new... A Crown Vic complete...

Post by cwindsor »

Well after some time of riding with an axle flip over stock springs I decided to go with a 4 link setup. The axle flip was riding like two fat girls in the back of a cadillac... No matter what type of shock I threw at it, It sucked...

I went with a basic 4 link setup (Bolt in) and a pan bar. After looking at the kit when it came in I decided to weld the kit in for piece of mind.

The C-Notch was already installed from one of my older mods... While I was there with the bed off the frame I decided also to go ahead and burn it in also..

I tossed the Chinese coilovers that come with the kit and replaced them with QA1 covilovers and adjustable valve shocks. The spring rate I decided to go with was a 250lb spring rate.

The Axle I am running is out of a 95 F150, I currently have 2 inch spaces on the rear but plan to take them off when a new wheel choice I'm hashing out.
