Just the food and the company based on last time is good enough for me. Anything else is a bonus.

They are called both, "lightning bugs" and "fireflys" so you weren't wrong. Ezer is just messing with you...

I'm with Lyn, love to watch lightning bugs! Don't get to see them that often here so when we do, its something special. Mattie will be trying to catch them for pets I bet. Unless they turn into the next cornbats.

I haven't driven my truck more than a couple miles at one time in a decade as we've rebuilt it. Will I be tarred and feathered if I trailer it to KC? I will pull it with a Ford if that makes it any better. :)

It won't be the only truck towed to the event, nobody will look down on that...

now if you run into someone that drove 1000 miles in theirs, THEY might grin some ;)

If mine makes the 1000 mile trip home, you can bet I'll be grinning ear to ear :D
Hell, if it makes the 400 mile trip TO KC, I'll be grinning! Just to hedge my bets though, when I pick it up next (almost) month, I'll be bringing a trailer, and sorry, but the trailer will be behind a SAAB; I'm not about to try to pull an F-350 that distance behind a six-cylinder, five speed F150, not that it hasn't pulled such loads before!

maybe not tar and feather but a little snicker maybe. Break in on mine was a 2000 mile SS trip. But then Michelle had a empty spot on her trailer in case of disaster. All kidding aside if you just show up its all good.
