BUGGER ,must have been a good looking slick...on the runway!

Post by 8clt »

Leeroy,

You've kept this quite.

Have you moved over and they were unloading your eye catching slick from the Antanov freighter, when flight JQ57 was on finals... to runway 20 charlie at Changi International....

Must have been the stopover in Darwin, tried to knock down a six pack of stubbies.....the Darwin type.

It would have left scratches on that orange bellied bird.....Bugger.....wheels were still up with 150 metres- ah new model hovercraft A380 in service.Low cloud cover maybe ?

here is the link.

Hahaha, yes yes. Quite an incident. They desperately tried to keep quiet but someone leaked the goods.

Captain was politely asked to resign or be fired.... No loss to be honest. The f/o is still with us. Not sure how it got so out of shape. Would have been interesting to be a fly on the wall when all the bells and whistles went off!

There's a few bits 'missing' out of the media reports however....

You know plenty of the lingo, have you been infected with the virus as well?

Hey they've banned antonovs in Singapore airspace as well, due to 'reliability concerns!' it was a pissa to read!
