I'm no Ford nut, BUT that is a Gurney Westlake heads on what appears to be a 351C!

Rare and expensive indeed!

Check out the wicked fenderwall headers! Reminds me of the AMC Gremlins I see hot rodded out with drag prepped 401s!
My Slick is rustier than your Slick! :D

Winner on the head, block is a 302 Boss. I understand Ford decided to sell these heads and intake as over the counter parts to make them legal for some class of racing. I have also seen this head setup to flow in reverse, in other words the headers are bolted on where the intake is.

The guy who owns this Pinto saw it for the first time cruising through the local Sonic Drive In and said everytime the cam would lope the tires would chirp. The original owner got in some financial troubles, and Jr. took it off of his hands and added it to his very, very, very extensive collection of FoMoCo goodies.

Pinto V8..... my first car that never was. Had the springs... but bought a Mustang before the V8 ever made it in..

Like the Torino in the BG too.. looks like a 429 CJ
It's a race.. Will hell freeze over or will JC finish his truck first. Stay tuned..

Yikes! I'll take TWO!
And that's just the valve train, heads and intake . Ya still need a short block and the carbs in the pic are not included! It is very cool though.

The guy that has the Pinto recently sold a Schwinn Bicycle collection for over a million bucks. He had every US made model ever made.
