I been slacking off, but a couple new rock crawler Slick pic

Post by foodstick »

Hey, its a rock crawler chassis, I have to have the front wheel up on something in a picture ! hahahhaha
Image

I am not sure it will ever look right since I stuck with this odd wheel base to width of my Losi Mini Crawler ... but I will at least take pics from angles that hide it ;)

I appreciate your talents Foodstick.
It reminded me to order this '66 body made to fit the Traxxas Slash RC.
Not as creative as your piece but I will have fun painting and placing the decals someday!

This is a little bit off topic but I noticed this and had to share considering all the wood work you are doing......

Yeah thanks mate, it's a CMP Canadian Military Pattern Blitz truck, or wagon as we call them. They were built by Ford and Chev during WW2, My Dad had one as his Plumbers truck in 1959, I loved that truck but as I only found out just before my Mum died, that she made him sell it as she didn't want to been seen driving around in it, as it was also the Family transport back then  . I had found a photo of it but can't find at the moment :( ... anyhow, the first pic is of mine without paint, then two real ones and then a model one some guy built... 1/23nd I think.

Those trucks are dead serious, no frills there.
It looks like the view from the cab would be really cool, its so wide and open..especially to the front.
