Traded my 79 F 150 - straight trade.
One reason is, with 2 trucks to do, NEITHER of them was ever going to get done - 1 had to go and it wasn't going to be the 64.
I pretty much haven't touched the 64 since I got the 79, I work on it instead. The AOD I bought for the 79 will go in the 64 with the 5.0 now.
1987 Mustang LX convertible. This is a Very solid well maintained car, everything but 1. 1/4 window works (just needs a new plastic gear).
Oxford White, black top, red interior, (bidding on a red boot cover).
2.3 Auto, New top, New Tires, New fuel pump, New brakes, MC, Alternator and more.
Painting one of these (nice driver paint job) is a piece of cake. LMR makes an aerosol dye designed specifically to just bring the color back up on these cars ($15 a can), 1 can of trim black will spruce up the rest.

Looks a good swap Greg, now only touch up work on that and get the 64`done, Slick Stock is next year!

It won't take long to spruce up the Mustang enough for now.
I'm going to get after the 64 very shortly - Mustang should be done by next weekend.
I'll give the Mustang a nice paint job after the 64 is done, touchup will hold it fine till then.
The problem I had with the 79 was I kept having visions of it in pieces in the other 1/2 of the garage.

Greg, that is exactly the reason I sold the Green Slick to Leeroy for... don`t pull another one apart until the first one is back together!

Finally some proper tires and wheels.
Plus that gaping maw of a hole in the front bumper fixed.
I needed the 14s that were on here fopr my work van anyway.

Looks good Greg! I had an '89 LX 5.0 convert that I wish I never sold. Your car brings back alot of great memories.
