The stuff looks nice Shadow... it is satisfying making things by hand. I wish all I had to do is buy a guitar strap and that would make me an expert guitar player ;P

I loved doing leather work as a kid. It was popular in the seventies.. Generaly I make my own billfold and one lucky guy out there picked a leather Slick 60's billfold up in the prize lottery in Altoona at SS.. Anyone out there remember who?

Its always good to see people keeping their craft skills up to date !

Good work. Stuff making is a satisfying hobby. I make clocks and incense burners. Good to see other people making stuff as well.

Have I got a deal for you. I have about 700 belt buckles that need a home. Trying to figure the best way to sell, then I can attend SS.

700 belt buckles ! Did you have a slip up while ordering on line? Or just collected them for years?

Collected since early 70's. Never bought more that 4 or5 at one time, mostly one at a time.

You just have enough to build an ART CAR, cover your entire truck with belt buckles ;)

Have you ever seen the van covered with cameras?

I like the look of your work, bling on a belt. Would like to sell all in one lot, shipping adds up quick on the heavy brass ones. I have all of the Hesston rodeo series 1975 to 2015, 2 or 3 of a few. Not trying to hijack this thread, I really like your and I run off at the finger as well as the mouth(so says my wife).

I did a bit of that in the late 70`s as well, belts, stubby holders were my main things, the inside platted belt was my biggest success, still got one....just doesn`t fit anymore! :?
Honey, If I say I`ll fix something I will, there`s no need to remind me every 6 months!!

You know this thread reminds me of this one kid in my class. he was a chevy guy, and he had a belt made out of a chevy timing chain, don't recall how he closed it in front? But it had to have weighed a pound or two...
