I always laugh when the east coast gets a storm. Doom and gloom for 2 weeks prior to the storm and it is the end of the world for everyone. We have had snow up to 2 feet deep on the ground since the 11th of December and there isn't even a blip on the news. The storm that hit on the 14th of December the Superintendent opted to close school for 1 day, the first school closure in 29 years, and he was hammered so bad that he ended up defending his decision on the news that night. That just made the situation worse for the guy. Course he came out of California so what can you expect?

We are flooding here in Cape May, NJ.
The road I would take to get to the base is under water.

I'm sorry. I just had to do this

If I don't move back to Oregon- I would definitely live in Montana. I love traveling through there every time I go back and forth across country. My Great Grandpa and family settled in Ravalli MT when they came over from Cornwall England in the 1910's. Grandma was born there, Great Grandpa was a "beverage salesman" or what ever that was... but he was a ranch hand as well. He ended up moving the his family (second or third wife and his daughter) to Klamath Falls Oregon in the early 60's.

I had a recruit in my company who was from the same place as my family- funny how that happens.

Even thou it's not a big deal in some states,, around here it becomes a screw up, no mail for 3 days,, no Ups since last Thursday, maybe today,, schools that's a joke. See you cannot plow roads with a snow plow 6" off the ground, Oh yes main roads are good, but to get to them that the horror
