Picked up an "almost" slick

Post by ThinLizzy13 »

I purchased my first bump side and it was delivered yesterday. 1967 F250 camper special. It's got a 352, 4 speed, and 4.10 gears. 70k original miles. I call it my almost slick because it seems to share a lot of parts with slicks and bumps and it only missed being a slick by a year. Only real issue so far is the clutch not working properly. Anyway I thought people on here might like to see it...

Nice birthday present Brandon! Looks like the original seat, is it in decent shape?

Both my birthday and Christmas presents this year went towards the truck. Now if I could just get my wife to do the same...

Thanks Corey! I'll send you a pic of the seat, it's in really good shape. The driver's side squats down a bit from use, but it isn't ripped or messed up at all.

My wife has actually taken quite a liking to this truck, so I may be able to swing that! Although she has started referring to it as "her" truck...So I dunno if I like where this is heading lol.

Got my 5" thick 1967 ford truck shop manual in the mail yesterday. Pretty cool stuff but not as specific as I would've hoped. Also got the shop wiring book in the mail. If anyone needs any diagrams I've got them....

Clean old bump! Sounds like your wife has decided
she wants it by calling it ''Hers''. Wait'll she has to drive it
in traffic and she may change her mind if she is used to
an automatic. TR

It's hers when it works fine, and mine when it needs work

That's a very good way of putting it, it's kind of an oddball. One of the first things I did was put the grille guard back on!
