Is there a way to post a pic if it's not in a gallery or on a site like photobucket.com?

Not sure I understand the question. The pucture would have to be on a web server somewhere in order to post it. Where is the picture? Is it on your computer? Did you find it on some other web site?

Yes, on my computer. Other forums when I click on post reply, an option usually called "manage attachments" or something like that comes up. It allows me to browse my hard drive and link a pic. without having to load it onto a gallery here. It is useful if you are trying to make a point with a pic, but don't want that in your gallery.

I found a mod that does what you are talking about... I will install it soon - probably over the weekend.

For anyone that is interested - here is a web site that offers mods for phpBB (the software that this site is using) - http://www.phpbbhacks.com. Feel free to browse around and see what is available. If you see something you think would be cool, Post up the link and I can add it. There is all kinds of stuff there...

Right on Jim! Very cool. Yeah, I agree on the gallery space getting used up on posting pics of EBay trucks and such.

Nevermind, didn't read the date. This was an ancient thread someone posted a nonsense comment on.
