Get a piece of paper & a pencil (you can do this in an easy chair)
Start a list...
Write down EVERYTHING you have to do to put your truck on the road
EVERY LITTLE DETAIL.....
Then when you do get time... Do something..even tiny things
Then you get to mark off those jobs on the list
It will also help you remember to get stuff when you go to town
Bolts & nuts... Paint... Parts......
Then when you do have 45 minutes... You can knock off little things
Even if you don't see progress on the truck
You WILL see progress on the list
Pretty soon you'll WANT to get out there go at it

Hope this helps

That is what I did, Joey! There are a thousand little things
a guy can do on these trucks that can get done on a daily basis.
However insignificant they are, they are necessary and will free
up time to do larger things. Keep plugging away at it Joey. TR

Joe: As I recall, this truck was your grandfathers?? That's a pretty special connection right there, My dad's father passed many years before I was born, never got to meet him, my mom's dad, I was introduced to when I was eight months old, (which I don't remember??), never saw him again (2000 miles away).
So if you knew the man, and have something that belonged to him, you're miles ahead of me, so think of him, look @ some family pics, and go at it!! (and instead of working on four vehicles concurrently, maybe the Slick needs to go to the front of the list?)

I understand the feeling of being paralyzed, too much to do and not enough time to do it, just pick one project and work on it, when you can't work any further go on to the next until you can go back

sell off all other projects ... and take that money and have somebody finish it or help you finish it. :2cents: But get your grandpa's truck finished one way or another. Let you and the kids enjoy

Joe,Like the other guys said at the very least keep picking away and don't let the easy chair grab your butt and not let you get up. Tom

After you make your list start with the ugliest and dirtiest items on the list and work towards the easier stuff, wont be long you will be wanting to get to it

those guys are right
put everything on a list, break the jobs down if you have to so you can get some part done in minimal time and checked off
if your working on something and its not going your way, let it alone for a bit and move on to something you can get done then come back to it later with a clear head
