Thanks, it's my dream shop. I retired two years ago and now I have a nice place to work on things. There's 6 inches of insulation in the walls and 8 inches in the ceiling. When they finished the inside it got down to 25 or 26 at nite with no heat at nite and it was 50 in the morning. It's amish built inside and out, the craftmanship is excellent. The only down side is I couldn't figure out how to get enough room for a paint booth. Sometime I just sit out there and look at it.

Wow, what an improvement! I built a removable paint booth in my shop, not sure if you checked out the inside when you stopped by. The lights and top 2' are permanent. Its in a corner so two walls are part of the exterior and the other two can be put in place when needed.

Thanks Bruce, I considered doing like you did but the scissor truss ceiling makes it a little more difficult. I think I'm going to make a temporary booth out of pvc pipe with 2 by end walls so I can build in a filter and fan system, and knock it apart when I don't need it.

Thanks ya'll. I absolutely love it. The downside of it is I lost my dad last year which is the only way I could do this. I would rather have him back and be back in my small garage. He would have loved it though.

That looks fantastic, Grump! I still don't have heat in mine. Did get gas run to it but nobody seems to be able to find the time to install furnace for me.

Looks like you have a well thought out setup, nice job.

Very nice shop. I had mine build in 05 and it was the best investment I have ever made. Is that a Morton building?

No, It's a package from a local small lumber yard and built by a amish crew.
