Loved the Monterey.

One of my best bud's in HS drove a pink 63 Monterey. It had a cool roll down rear window.

Back a few years ago when I was going to a lot of car shows with my Comp Orange Mach 1 there was a guy with a 69 Mach 1 that I usually ended up parking near. It was Calypso Corral and very near the color of my Comp Orange car. Made me wonder if it was the same color and Ford just renamed the color? They have been known to do that. Beautiful car!

The blower he would turn off as he was driving? Now how does that work?

orangeR: The owner of the '66 parts cab I was recently given picked up a '70 or '71 Torino convertible this summer, and the shop that painted it for the previous owner "guessed" @ the colour. Then, someone added a different trunklid & rear quarter extensions (GT stuff??).....but guessed again. One of the guesses was Calypso Coral, the other was Competition Orange, and trust me, when you see the two on the same car, they are surprisingly similar, but readily apparent they are not the same colour:)

Looked like a really bad match:)
