We were just talking about this at poker night with some old timers
I said leave a 5 gallon can with 3 gallon water & 2 gallon gas n it
......
One guy said that is exactly what a neighbor had done years ago.....
Plan backfired....
The guy who stole the gas , got a powerful lawyer
The guy that was getting gas stolen lost the case
And ended up PAYING FOR A NEW ENGINE
I asked how a little water would ruin an engine ?
He didn't know... But it cost him almost a $1000
Happened in 60s or 70s he said

You would definitely need to be cautious these days! Always consider the "what-ifs"!
Hell, we just normally rotate the unlabeled tanks! All "authorized" users are aware of that policy!
