"Garage Sale Find Of The Week"

Post by Shadow »

Came Across A 1960's Craftsman Tool Cabinet At A Garage Sale For $20.00 Loaded With Tools. Then A Week Later I Came Across A Woman That Said I Have Some Tool Boxes In My Shed That Were My Grandfathers. He Owned AN Auto-Parts Store And Service Center In The 50's-60's. She Said $40 For All Of It. 1950's Huot Top Cabinet With Mac Bottom And A 1960's Rem-Line Cabinet. I Had To Drill The Locks And All The Cabinets Were Full Of Vintage Snap-On, Mac, Blue-Point, S-K, Fleet, Proto, Indestro, Powr-Kraft Image Image Image Image Image Image

Almost Gave Me And My Friend Hernias Getting These Into The Truck. To Give You An Idea How Well These Tool Cabinets Were Built In The 1950's The "Huot" Top Box Weighs 63-lb's Empty! It Probably Weighed Close To 200-lb's Full Of Tools. The Quality Of The Boxes And Tools Is Unreal, I Have Been Sorting Through This Stuff For 3-Days Now An Even Found A Key-Chain & Pocket Knife With The Name Of The Guys Auto Service Center. I Will Post More Photo's After This Stuff Is Sorted And Cleaned Up.
