I'm sure some of the members here are in prime spots
I'm just a bit south of the "total" show
People sure are in chaos about the whole deal
I'm not taking any chances !
Going to park the Slick inside :bs:

100%. Total eclipse here at the house in middle TN. Staying home and away from the craziness. Pinhole camera for viewing just like back in the 70s. Don't trust those $2 plastic "glasses".

It was about 90% where I am. It got quite a bit dimmer outside, but still pretty bright, similar to maybe an hour before sunset and cooler. I thought it would get darker with only 10% of the light getting by. I understand how that would have been an eerie experience before science could explain it.

I also used my welding helmet to see it. Apparently shade 14 is what should be used. Mine only goes to 13. Only looked for a couple seconds at a time.
