Anthony’s truck at the KOA in Salina!
I guess that could be a "joke" .....
Anthony wasn't laughing at the time :cussing:

But it's stories like that ...
That his wife will get to say .. " I told you something was wrong !"
For the next time

Oops didn’t mean it as a joke, more like a rescue event!
He certainly had plenty of help!

Actually not much different from the formation of the international Carb rebuilding team. Which was formed out of a series of carb troubles for 2 slicks on the trip from Altoona to KC for slick stock three. The convoy was comprised of 2 slicks driven by a pair of Brothers (Americans) a thunderbird (Driven by a certian Canuck) and a rental SUV (Driven on the wrong side of the road by a certian Aussie). As I recall Kid bang.gif was not laughing after several stops for a carb that simply did not want to go to KC.( that is putting it mildly or Child freindly) The trip took almost twice as long as it should have and included the dismantling of 2 carbs on an Off ramp where the truck came to a rest to build one out of 2 to complete the trip. But we all look back atit fondly and laugh at it now.

Yeah we didn't even all get to meet at the service station as we planned, some didn't make it, others went out to help and then were broken down as well
what a sight it would of been, 6 grown adults crawling around on the ground looking for a blinking spring, I thought Donnie was going to blow a vein
looking for that spring. I'm glad it was him that found it on the Y block front engine mount! LOL.... I'll never forget that trip, we had been friends for 3 years on line
and had only met face to face 2 days prior .. great memories !! :D
