HOWDY from KC, nooob

Post by SILVERFOX »

Just a hello.
I have attached some pics of my truck below. I did a frame up restore in 1995/1996 when I was a Senior in High School. Been on the road for over 10 summers. She hybernates in the winter.

240 I6
T18 trans

Just a summer show truck cruiser.
Won't be cruising too much anymore though as i have a 3rd child comming :( I need extended cab :)

My other projects:
1992 Lincoln MarkVII Hot Rod - 351 road course suspension.

I kind of have gotten out of SLicks in the past 4 years since I got into Lincolns. However I have a heart ache for them all.

Just one last shout....I am a performance trans builder and specialize in OD trans. 1000HP and counting with 4 gears :)

Reason I showed up "finally" I guess, is I got a 89 F150 beater for the winter and been researching some fix ups and thought I would give a shout.

I wish i had the time/money to make my Agatha all special when I was a Senior...
I dropped $3000+ on a 390, at the end of Senior year, but she looked like poop thru freshman year of college... 2 years ago... she's growing bad now...

Nice to hear about people who were involved in something cool in Highschool, 10 years ago or not... there's not many old cars at highschool... I don't Know what it was like 10 years ago, but I got a pretty good idea...

Good to have ya.

Correct emblems...yeehaw. The emblem police won't be writing you any tickets. 8) That's one of those things we tease each other about.
I'm intrigued by this Lincoln project. I think you need to post some photos of that thing too. :D

Hey Silverfox - nice looking truck.

Can you tell me what brand/model wheels you have on it? I saw some 8-lugs like it the other day on Craiglist, but wasn't sure if it was the correct 6.5" bolt circle.

Welcome!

I seriously wonder whatever became of Slickfan. He had an acrimonious divorce, and then just kind of faded away. Too bad.
