xenon headlamps/system

Post by pj's64F250&66F600 »

folks, I want to know if anyone has experience with xenon lighting systems. If so, I'm guessing there is a lot of variance in manufacturers. If you've got a recommendation, please tell me why you'd be giving that recommendation, ok? You guys know that I'm true blue to you all, but I will be picking up a cute little '02 Mercedes pocket rocket next week. I'm considering adding the xenons to it. It's got everything else.
Thanks.

Paul, are you looking for the H.I.D. type headlights? The ones with the transformers? I don't know anything specific about them except they are expensive or were a couple of years ago. The technology may be getting cheaper...you should look on evil-bay for a conversion kit

Maybe this is what you need

Marty, you can probably find pics of them installed if you look for Hot Rod / Street rod pics< I saw them in Street Rodder on a Duece I think the first time.

Thanks for the tip/lead, Chop. I bought one. :-)

I think I want the H1 unit. I don't care what the color looks like, I want max visibility. It's not that I have any vision issues, but neither do I have vanity issues. I'm a utilitarian kind of guy.

Whatchu think?
