Yes, Comet
I am in the process as we speak of streetrodding it, much to the dismay of several folks on here and other boards I'm on.
It is being done right though, no body mods. The body is going on an aftermarket frame withall new suspension and a 5.0/AOD combo.

I will try to put a pic in my gallery if you are interested in seeing it

Absolutely Chop! Very cool. I'm a hot rodder myself. I might be looking at a '31 Model A Coupe tomorrow. I'm into the traditional look and I want to put a 392 Hemi in and give it the look that it came out of a Hot Rod magazine article in 1959.
I remember now seeing some stuff on it. You got my support! The 5.0 will be a refreshing change of pace in a Street Rod.

BTW, I work at Boeing. Every year we have an all employees car show and usually get around 100 various cars. The gal that organizes it has a 36 5W with old school flames over black. It's a really nice ride. She works in my group. Amazingly, there were 2 36 5Ws this year at the show. The other was stock. The show was just last Wed. We have a no camera policy without a permit (or used to anyway), but we can take pics at the car show. But because I'm used to the policy, I always forget to bring my camera. There were 3-4 deuces and a couple Ts there as well.

Otta be a cool ride Chop, hey it's yours do it the way you want. My 64 short was a kinda odd truck as built should be restored but I'm roddin it. There is guy on my route that has several rods or starters there of. 34 Ford pickup, 50 Merc (yes it's chopped and slamed and in black primer), and my fav although it's just a shell & frame (very) chopped T coupe! Under threat of a certain kind of legal papers I don't want, I haven't asked if he wants to part with the coupe, lol.
