I used "Sticker Shock" bumper sticker remover for getting the old glue off of my dash, after removing the pad. That stuff is GREAT! Made the glue turn into a rubbery substance that just rolled up and off when wiped. Just had to let it sit for a few minutes. Did NOT harm the paint in any way, either.
