Body bolts and screws

Post by JeffinMooresville »

These are the basic bolt bolts with part numbers that I have used for reassembly. Most of the guys on here are old pros, but someone did something similar and helped me out big time.

I have been buying Auveco bolts and parts thru Dixieland Distributors

All of these bolts are black.phosphate… so look like OEM and don’t have to paint.

A- (10180)#8 x 1/2 screws - use for all access panels on firewall and cab mount covers
B- (15776) M6 screw with head, use these on all self tapping screws thru firewall, floor, like around steering column
C- (2753) 1/4” x 5/8 bolts. I use these for attaching things to frame and other small bolts
D- (15350) 1/4” nuts for above
E-(10084) 5/16 x 3/4 point end - some of the front fender and grill use these.
F-(23664) 3/8” x1 3/16 bolts - fender to firewall, hood hinges etc.
G-(9756) 5/16” x 1” body bolts. These are used in a bunch of places on fenders, front end.
H-(15350) nuts for above and I. get plenty of these
I-(8847) 5/16” x 1-1/4” bold bolts. These and G are main bolts used to add emblem front end, valance, chin, grill etc.
J-(10053) 5/16” U-nuts. These are used where fenders attach to cab at door line and numerous places on front fenders, valance, etc.

I don’t know about your projects, but I have found a mismatch of bolts, many that are not reusable, so being able to have what feels like OEM correct replacements is great.
