Yup good catch. Think the price might be a tad high as well :roll:
Kinda neat though, don’t see many of these trucks in this area; let alone mercs.

Likely registered as a '62 and sold new in the fall of '62 even though the grill is '63. Not so easy to make into a shortbox. Original hubcaps long gone. He is VERY correct on the rarity of the Mercury tailgate though.

Consecutive Unit Number indicates 1961 Model Year, signs of blue paint in places in under hood pics, plenty of signs it's been messed with in the past......

Early serial number among other things, claims to be all original but has a "sweep" gauge assy. in it,?????
