working on my uni

well the back brakes checked out real nice and so i just cleaned and adjusted and put on my free tires and wheels 15 X 8

got to the front, the drivers side was beautiful too but the passenger side someone left the groovy drum to eat the shoe. ordered new shoes, will be in Friday, got seals so i can repack the bearings too and bead blasted the drums today ( had another to replace the bad one)

also found out the 15 X 8 is too wide for the underbed spare holder so if i want to use it i need to lengthen the piece of steel that goes in the center hole and maybe the bolts as well.
not a fan of those but not enough room for the tire on the in bed style with a swb.

I see you got lucky and don't have those single piston brakes (were they only on '63's?)

Looking good for free Brian :thumright: :thumright:
It's a race.. Will hell freeze over or will JC finish his truck first. Stay tuned..

not sure about all that used the single piston wheel cyls but they were on the 63 parts uni , and are also on my 65 f350. glad i did not have those, possible they might have been replaced with the duals previously.
