Looks like Grandpa and Herman have been busy! And Lilly added some touches to it as well.

Can you grab a picture the next time you see it? And share with us? Might help with the ideas for the "explorer" / "panel" idea projects.

That is awesome! I have a thing for hearses. I had to choose between a Hearse and a Slick. I decided that the fuel mileage of the hearse was a bad decision at the time. Both needed some restoration work and parts for a hearse are a little more difficult to find. I still want one. Now I can afford it. I just don't have a place to put it.

Hey Ezernut, there was one of those for sale here in town on Rt. 60 about a month and a half ago. He called it a factory cadillac/elcamino. So it is an actual Flower car. That would explain all the stainless and the drains in the bed....

yes and they are hard to find in good shape. caddys had a bad habit of rusting the frame behind the rear doors. made worse by funeral homes rinsing out the beds and not letting them dry properly.
a real nice flower car is hard to find.

Back in the early 80s I was at a local Junkyard and they had about a 55 or 56 Cadillac Flower Car there for sale...sweet and almost affordable but I had a wife and two young mouths to feed.
