Dallas area slick owners

Post by Brian Taylor »

Hello,
I am new to the F100 owners but like what I have been finding out about them and there owners. I have several things I want to find out.
If anyone has contacts, local, on parts trucks?
Would anyone or more think to group buy a truck to part out to each other?
Maybe sometime get together as a group either at a show or at someones shop to talk and or work on our trucks?
Thanks Brian

Brian, not far from Dallas in the city of Denton is an antique vintage salvage yard. The name is CTC Auto Ranch and they have their own website. I went there and got a bed for my truck that I haven't put on yet but was impressed with the price. There about 45 miles north of Ft. Worth. Good luck...Duke

Hey Brian

Me, PFM and others are always out at Pate in april and Pfm almost always makes it out to the Good Guys show at TMS in the fall

as for parts trucks you just have to look around and see what you find The are a few floating around in the DFW area.
Pfm and me have gone in together on parts trucks before
and PFM still has some stuff left from his latest.
The Problem with have found with getting a truck as a group buy is
storage and disposal of leftovers lol we still have parts left from the last parts truck.

Any specific part you looking for??

The list would be long on parts I "WANT" but I have a shorter list of what I need.
A rear bumper, I am using a bent front bumper in back now.
A spare tire and the retaining bolt to hold the spare under the truck
Good wing window frames mine are feathering with rust.
Door acces panel that is not hacked for a speaker.
Better seat but I will upgrade that with something comfortable
The access panels on the upper part of the kick panels
Headlight knob/rod
All rubber for the door glass and vent windows I will find it new.
on and on and on
Thats the short list it would be more if I was standing there with a wrench in my hand and a parts truck in front of me.
