Just a Update on Door Pockets

Post by 6166 Junkyard Dog »

Back in October Wayne did a post on these new door pockets, So we decided to get a couple of pair so I tried a new set on one of our 27,000 mile trucks & made a big difference on the interior, This truck still had the original paper behind the access panels also.. They come with all new screws & clips.. Just remember not to over tighten the screws or  might crack the trim even though they are pretty thick. They even have drain holes in them also... :thumright:

I bought the alum rings and they are well worth the money. The pockets are excellent too. I have an extra set of plastic rings that are chrome colored. Not using them if you want me to send them to you.

I need a set of those aluminum rings too, I hope he's not thinking of discontinuing them any time soon. :)

Just to let everybody know, the door pocket rings, and scuff plates that Wayne made up are excellent! and well worth it. I wish the new door pockets had some kind of a ring made up of metal rather than plastic, to prevent cracking.
