The place to talk Slicks. All we ask is that discussion has something to do with slicks...

Perhaps the case really is there are SLICKS . . . . :thumright: :dancing: :steering:  :arse:
Then there are all those other FoMoCo "also rans" displayed in that colorful poster, that are simply trying to catch up with slicks.  :rotflmao:

They ALWAYS cater to the Effies, the 57 and 67 are anniversary trucks this year. They only give away 5 stock and 5 custom trophies for the 57-60 class and the 67-72 trucks. They give away a Top 25 for Slicks. In pecking order, I think we are 3rd. 1st priority is obviously for the 53-56 Fat fendered trucks (Top 50), followed by the 48-52 F-1's (Top 25). Pat Ford does realize that the Slicks are VERY popular.

Iceman I said the same thing when I got all of our flyers since usaully get about 500 of them for our tables,, For many years now we have told Pat that 61-66 trucks are hot,, In my opinion 48-52 are ranked about 4th,,, 53-56 was always the body style to get since always been hot but the hotest trucks out there are 61-66,, 67-72 are right behind them & 73-79 are still trying to get going but on the 73-79 trucks so many of them are used as everday work trucks so its hard to know whats being done 57-60 trucks are the how can I say un-wanted children,, But starting to come around but these trucks had a bad case of rusting real bad so it makes it hard to find good solid trucks,,, Several Years ago I told Phillip out of SC with his uni-body truck that won 61-66 class couple of times that the next generation is 61-66 & when we went to supernationals & finally got to walk around there is many slicks out there & seeing many show up at the smaller shows as well... Just lets keep that class of trucks going beacuse on the Horizon I see the 67-72 trucks in the draft :) :) :)
