223 Engine pics,,Show em off!!

do any of you proud ford owners got any pics of your 223 engines? maybe with the headers and the 1-2-4 barrel carbs? i'd like to drool over how well these things look souped up, hook it up boys, mine is completely stock but has yet to change, got a pic in the gallery if youd like to see it, it is kind of bluish, the proud old ford blue!! I'll post more as soon as the wife gives the digital back..

hey charlie thats a clean engine bay, where did ya get the air cleaner from? sure like to upgrade the ol oilbath thingy, what is the size?

Thanks ,If you want it you can have it, I went to a oil bath I found a really nice one for 15 bucks, cleaned it up and put on a new air cleaner decal ,I like that stock look. PM your address if you want it.

Stuff I added to Hints and tricks

-300-6 choke tube repair
-duraspark II/ HEI
-Horn ring contact tube repair
-turn signal indicator fix

Those are the original colors for a 223 in 1964. Black block, red valve cover. I do not think the pushrod cover was painted red from the factory however. I just painted it red because I thought it made it look cooler.

according to what i can find, its a autolite 1100 with a spark valve. ive only seen them on falcon sixes but it works ok...
