But hey, I've been married 18 years to the same gal who can't carry a tune in a bucket, so what do I know?

Here's another one of those gee how time flies stories. In the early 90's I called Jesse to meet up with some of our other mutual friends that were meeting on our bikes at Cafe Westminster. It was a good breakfast, Gene Koch, a Hamster, and Drag Specialties' west coast rep talked with Jesse about some of the things he had coming up. We all listened intently and it was real neat stuff. When it was time to go, Gene's yellow Hamster bike wouldn't kick over with the electric starter, so a few of us Weasels (That's who I ride with) push started him, and then we all went for a ride.

There's a ton a stories about Jesse, some good, some bad, some true, and some not true. His saga has been an incredible one to say the least.

I've got nothing bad to say about anyone anymore, Jesse and I butted heads a few times, but the last time I saw him we shook hands, smiled and it all went away.

Even when I thought the least of him I was happy for him when I heard he was marrying Sandra Bullock. Over half of my friends that met for breakfast that early 90's day are dead.

Life's just too damn short, I hope Jesse and Sandy can patch it up.

That's my two cents.

I never did think that this guy was much. Talented maybe, had his head up his ass, yes. I forget which episode turned me sour on him. I'm sure he has an ego as big as Texas and most likely would not and could not be faithfull. Just not in his nature from the start. don't blame him and and don't much care. I don't like the guy and I haven't even met him, just watched his show. Might be a great guy, but just something about him I don't like. Kinda like rubbing a cats fur the wrong way I suppose. As to cheating, under the right circumstance, I think any man is succeptable. I have a great wife, and wouldn't take for her, but wouldn't give you a dime for ten more like her. Sandra, could have me any time she wants me, but I would have to think about it for say at least 2 or 3 seconds before her begging would win me over.

Did anyone see the episode of Monster Garage where they built a Panoz Esperante into a flying car? A friend of mine, Jason Barnes, was one of the crew on that show. He was a Chassis engineer for Panoz. Now he has a tubing business and he builds parts for Panoz and many other tubing related fabrication jobs. Anyhow, having met him in person, Jason was not too impressed by Jesse.
