Chris: Looking good. Can't believe the progress you've made since last year's "viewing" during last year's "Mini-Slick Stock South" during Pate. You put us other slackers to shame.
If you understand what you’re doing, you’re not learning anything.

Inside not to bad but you do get to pratice your oragommy skills. Stopping runs it the hard part because of the tight spaces sometimes. Underside of roof is the hard part. At least you can unbolt your dash which makes things easier. Wish out dashes came out like that.

- Skills? No skills just a determined drive to get this done. (I blame SS03 for being this determined, it was fun but will be funner if I get this done and at ss04)

Learn as you go nothing is impossible just might be impacratical. :D

I had a lot left over so I sprayed some floor. Got a tiny bit of overspray (because I wasn't planing on spraying that part) but hey all in all good. If I look at it the next couple of days and decide I can't live with the overspray. I can shoot a lite coat of blue after masking. :D

Looking good. That's a lot of cab to paint. I like the blue and white combo.

Chris, I checked your build thread at least 20 times since this evening hoping you would post pics of the white.

Nice work so far!

Are you going with the traditional two-tone pattern or something different?

Yea takes a while to do clean up and all. Plus I let a little time pass so the paint drys so I can demask it. I figured pictures would be better with both colors and it was killing me to see both colors.. :D

I will be going with the body line. White on top blue on bottom and roof is going to be blue.

Thanks all...

I got clear coat on last night for the inside of the cab. Now to work on doors and little parts for the inside. I can't say it's the best paint job in the world but it is good enough for me as this is my first paint job to this level. The lessons I learn will make furture jobs better and better. :D

That looks really cool. Love that blue!
Just a opinion here, but as long as you're are in this place, I always find it helps me to spray some light color silver or the same White you used UNDER the dash. You'll be glad you did when you're laying on your back with lights trying to put everything back up and under there. Helps to see a LOT easier.
Maybe not a fair comparison since the dash comes out, but here's my tbird dash done that way. Image

Yes not fair. I wish our dashes would come out (semi easy at least). That is a good suggestion but that would make it just to easy...

Looking good Chris! Think you're doing an excellent job and can't wait to see it upclose.

Bird55, good idea on the underdash paint.

ok but you could still shoot it with a rattle can from underneath with some quickie masking. still easy enough.

I have to say that I sure am impressed. You do beautiful work Chris. As I look through the build threads, I can see that most here are a bunch of very meticulous craftsman. I can't wait to see the truck in person.
