Any good ideas for clearing/cleaning a dirty/clogged gas tank. Last inspection on this truck is 1990. Whatever is still in the tank might be that old. Tried feeding wire through the metal tube at the bottom of the tank. Had to use thin wire to make the bend in the tube. Got some stuff to drip out but thats all. Wire was probably not large enough to keep te hole open.
My next attempt will be Gumout in the tube. Maybe try forcing air. Also thought of bike brake cable-flexible but strong enough to poke through the sludge.
Any other ideas?

When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that is the beginning of the end of any nation.
