Welcome from South Carolina!
One interesting but important detail about Slicks is the interface between '64 and '65. Keep this in mind when reading posts about interchange and upgrades. Even though all the Slicks, '61 - '66, look very close, the similarities are only superficial.
Up to '64, F-100/250 trucks used a single front axle. In '65, Ford introduced the Twin I-beam, and then kept the basic design, while adding improvements up to '79.
Therefore, a '79 or earlier truck can be used for a number of easy bolt-on (or almost bolt-on) upgrades like power steering - but not any earlier than '65.
Further, only a few body parts interchange; these are limited to the doors, fenders, and some other minor parts.
Fortunately, though, the guys - and yes, the gals too! - are very knowledgeable about the best ways to get the most out of the '64 and earlier trucks.
I hope this helps, and again, WELCOME! from South Carolina!

Thanks to everyone for the kind welcome.....................The truck has a good running 292 and a three speed. I think I will keep things pretty much like they are for now. I have pulled the front springs and started to reverse the eyes, probally do the same to the rears. Also replaced some brake parts(was sitting for two years). The rear end is a Dana 60 with 4.56 gears!! I have a few nine inch rears laying around, one of them should have 3.50'S in 'em.
I'm a big fan of 60's push trucks, I think I might go in that direction.
Thanks again.......
