Me and My 66 Slick Made it home

Post by Old_Ford_Man »

Well I made it home with no troubles, I went to Oklahoma to spend Christmas with the in-laws and from their house go to Grandview, MO and pickup my 1966 F-100 Custom Cab. I drove from Grandview, MO to Pawhuska, OK. I was there 3 days to give the Slick a good looking over then drove it from Pawhuska, OK back to Huffman, TX. Here are a couple of pictures I took when I got home and washed the road dirt off

What is the ratio of the rear end and what kind of mileage did you get on your trip?

I have the same eng/trans w/ a 4.10 and get about 10.2 on the road cruising 67mph

Well I got the shocks installed the Saturday and installed the vent hose under the dash Sunday and spent another 3 hours trying to revive the old faded paint. I have to say it is looking better it is just going to take time.
