First off welcome!
Pictures are not a requirement but will make everyone real happy!
The 352 can be a little pricey to rebuild, and are a bit hard on gas milage.
On the other hand they make a good amount of power. If you are going to spend the money on a rebuild and since it did not come with one, I feel, there are better options. You will also have to come up with a trans as well
You might want to consider rebuilding your six, and adding aftermarket intake and exhaust manifolds. Clifford Performance makes a good combo and you can often find them for sale on e-bay, or craigs list for a much lower price, they really help the power and are supposed to help with mileage as well.
What motor/transmission do you have in your truck?
Again welcome to the madness

It does not matter what you think, it only matters what you do about it!

thank you unibody madness i bought the truck with no motor or tranny so im open to options on what size motor to go with id like to have around 350-400 hp when all said and done only reason i asked about the 352 a friend has one with 10,000 miles on the rebuild he said he would sell it to me for 200 bucks figured i could throw a set of heads, intake ,carb and decent cam and get what im looking for another guy told me a 352 was a very torque motor but like i said im open to options

Well, this is the site to ask those questions
My trucks have motors, so luckily I do not have that problem!
Ask questions and try some searches, Your questions will or have been answered,Its your truck and do what you can with what you got, you might be able to score a running gear right here

If you are looking for that much HP you can buy the 352 and make a 390 out of it. You will need a 390 crank and rods but the rest will work. When you get into it ask around on the FE site or you could PM me with questions if you like. As said before the FE is a good motor and makes great HP & torque but don't expect much for mpg.
