BEAUTIFUL! Great job on the rangoon/wimbledon baby. My kinda truck - everyone else needs a ladder to get in - not me! BTW- I drove my truck to the bodyshop to be painted with no windshield, but it was around 25 degrees, and I almost froze my face off :)

Its sitting on a 1972 F100 4x4 chassis. The original 2wd frame was bent bad. I also did a 3" suspension lift.. Has 4:10 gears and a detroit tru-trac in the rear.

I always wanted a slick 4x4 but they're so rare and usually beatup, so I decided to just build my own.

Thank you! I'll try to make slick stock, but I'm not quite sure yet. I will definatley be at the F100 supernats at Pigeon Forge in May. I love Tennessee and its been a dream of mine to drive one of of my old trucks through the smokies.

Bill, yes I'd like to find a console. I'm thinking the early falcon console(63?) would be best. The ones that people say came in the early early ranger pickups. I actually like the look of those the best.

I've never looked that close in person at either the older falcon console or the 65 console in person, but isnt the later one a bit longer? I'm concerned it wouldnt fit with the 4 speed trans cover. Ive sat in one actual ranger truck and it was a 65 F-250 ranger with a 4 speed and it didnt have console and never appeared to either. I'm interested in whatever I can find. I'm not concerned about authenticity as this isnt an orginal ranger, nor 4wd anyway! lol. All I care about is using parts that were actually used in ranger trucks and not using some hack console out of like a 91 sunbird or something....lmao...

If anyone sees a good one let me know. I'd be interested!

the early consoles are on ebay most of the time...
this one is a bit high on the buy it now price, but it's what your looking for.

it took me 2+ years to find all the original pieces for a 65-66 ranger console, final cost was way high! over 7

I'm loving those mirrors! What brand are they & where did you get them? Also, did you shave the drip rail over the windshield?
