Spokane Washington area meetup
Spokane Washington area meetup
Ok guys I'm making a plea for us to pick a time sometime over the holidays for us to get together for a meet and greet. If the guys in the midwest and the south can do it we can too. I am aware we have kicked this subject around before but lets try to get it started for real this time.
I'm suggesting Spokane because of the location but anyone in the northwest that would like to see a get together please chime in with a suggestion. Lets "get er done". I'm sure it will be fun.

Hey Mike not trying to sound like a buzz kill here. Just wanted to remind you that the roads in this here part of the country can go poop here just about anytime. Just wondering if this a good time of the year for a long distance get together. Not that Im afraid to drive in it just my .02.

Any time Mark you know where I live now and you and yours are always welcome.
Same to you Vic and I know the weather can sometimes do a number on us. The best we can do is go for it and adjust accordingly.
I am up for anywhere in the Spokane area something reasonable and easy to get to.
Anyone in the area interested sound off.

Should of let me know. Im always up for a cup of coffee. I feel sorry for you man out there with the Spokane drivers and the masses. I was out getting a fridge styleside bed for my 63 on black saturday. Question for you did you ever stop in or find Tee-Pee auto wreckers over in Yakima Sunnyside area? Which hiway did you travel 395 or SR2? If SR2 you came within a mile of the house. Could have met at the Mercury Cafe on the hiway for some coffee.

Colbert is about 6 miles north of Spokane city limits. Stretches between Hwy 395 and Hwy 2. About 120 miles or so south of the Canadian line. We used to go up to Ainsworth all the time before the new guidelines on the border went into effect. Just have to get off my butt and get the new drivers liecense or passport so we can get back up there. Love those hot springs.johnzmu wrote:I run 395 to Pasco, then jump on I-182, then 82 to granger, then 223 and 22 into toppenish. Be there on monday as a matter of fact. Where is Colbert? If I've got lots of time one of these trips, we should sit down and have a coffee. Haven't tracked down Tee-Pee as of yet.

The plan is on one of my trips, to drop off my Peterbilt at Caterpillar in Spokane for a dyno pull and a tune up. Could take a day or so, so it might come in handy to have a local or two to show me around! As far as a place to park, I fuel up at the new Loves truck stop in Post Falls every trip. I'll be there tomorrow, but I'll have cattle on, so not much time.oldtrucks wrote:johnzmu
On your way through where would be a good place for you to stop in the Spokane area? How about the truck stop west of Spokane? Give a shout next time through. 208 661 3341. try to meet if I can

I take it then you come down 95 to I90 to 395. I live about 30 miles east of 95 / I90 in Pinehurst Idaho. Mark knows where he's been here. I'm going to be in Postfalls tomorrow too but I don't know when. Oh well, when you drop your truck off for the tune up we will be sure and meet you at the shop and keep you entertained till its done. Looking forward to meeting you. I think a couple of us around here will show up, I will for sure.
