Looking at a '66
I called about this '66 long bed. It's a 352 as per the owner and shifts good. It looks decent in the pics and is at a decent price. If I do bring it home with me, I'll be in the doghouse!

***UPDATE*** : I am offically a slick-a-holic. I brought her home!
I was surprised at the condition of this survivor. It is the original 352 and 3-speed tranny. It has a lot of power for an old truck and does not smoke at all. The 3-on- the- tree shifts nicely. Clutch feels good but the brakes need adjusting. It has a A/C unit but is not hooked up. When I drove it, I thought it had power steering. It does not. It justs feels that way because the steering wheel/gearbox are very tight. Or maybe I'm just used to my straight axle '64 with no p/s. It's got small rust areas on both floor pans but the corner cabs are rust free. Minor rust in the bed. The seller also threw in an extra right fender and tailgate! The tires and mags are in good shape. I'll have to fix the turn signals and horn, and adjust the brakes and I should be ready to pass the safety inspection. All and all, I think I made out allright. Except for having to sleep in the doghouse!

Glad to hear you brought it home, looks like a nice survivor in the pics! All in all pretty minor stuff to get worked out, I like three on the tree trucks since most people now have never seen them before!
