I just installed 8 lug Ford van wheels(16 inch) on my '64 F250. I like the look but I would like to improve them a little. Because they are "outies" the hub caps are just too big, for me. I'm thinking trim rings and chrome lug nuts.....
Anyone have ideas or pictures of eight lug wheels......Thanks

Tom, I will have to get pics later, I already had chrome covers on my axle nuts and painted my lug nuts, when I finished my brakes a couple of weeks ago, I wasn't going to paint them again, put on chrome lug nut covers from Iowa 80, look good, they were cheap, too.

I know this isn't what you were looking for, but I needed an excuse to post pictures of the 8 lug 16" "innies" on my 63 F-250. A couple of the large caps in decent condition came with the truck and I got two more from a member, then had them powder-coated "chrome" (which gave them a shiny Argent color), then added trim rings to the Wimbledon white wheels complete the effect, as I like the silver outside rims on the large trucks.
If you understand what you’re doing, you’re not learning anything.

That wheel treatment is a GREAT look!

Thanks Steve...........Wheels look good. I think I'll go in that direction with trim rings though. Thanks for the tip on Iowa80 also.....they have a great web site.

Re: Eight lug Wheels dressed up...........
Thanks for the comments. When I started working on cleaning up/painting the wheels and before I got the hub caps finished, I painted the lugs and the hubs black and really liked the look. I almost left the caps off for the more "big truck" look.
