My nephew came over today and helped me adjust the doors and install the headliner. Thanks to Brian the Iceman, who had some really good suggestions on how to solve both problems. It worked exactly as he said and recommended. For the door adjustment, the key is to move the fenders as far foreward as possible and then adjust the doors to the cab. And on a '61 headliner, the U-bracket in the center of the cab roof has to be removed in order for the replacement headliner to go as high as it needs to. The replacement headliner sits almost an inch higher than the original, and I need the headroom!

Drove the '61 in the Burton Cotton Gin Parade a few weeks ago.

Back at the ranch next to a 2007 King Ranch F250 to see the difference in size. The '61 stopped to get gas and still beat the King Ranch back to the ranch. (Of course, he missed a turn :)

Dennis Carpenter has the headliners. http://www.dennis-carpenter.com
was it hard to shape the headliner?

It is a Dennis Carpenter Headliner. The key was to spray the back of the headliner with a spray bottle and work everything very slow and take your time. Allot 3-4 hours so you don't feel pressured and have a helper that also has the time bracketed out. This headliner sits about an inch higher than the original on the '61 so I had to take out the center spacer bracket as Iceman predicted. It gives me an extra inch or so of headroom which I need!

They are P205 75 15's. As far as I can tell, they are closest to original equipment.
