I'm putting my bed on the 64 styleside but the body line isn't quite lining up right I was hoping someone here could help I'm look for a measurement from the top of the front bed rail to the scallop line on the back of the cab.
Thanks

Re: Bed ?
Kyle.
Depends on if the cab is sagging or the bed is sagging. Probably need new body mounts to bring the cab back up to height.
If the bed is sagging, you need to cut and install some shims.
The new body insulators aren't really very expensive, but be sure to get the kit for the core support too to keep everything in line.........

Re: Bed ?
Ok I have a special case I have all new mounts and no the cab isnt sagging I'm putting the matching 64-66 bed on my 64 4x4 so I'm making spacers for the bed I'm just trying to figure what height I should be shooting for I've got it close but the trim on the bed and the trim on the cab don't appear like they'll line up

Re: Bed ?
That's what I've done like I said the body line matches but trim line doesn't maybe the trim was installed higher on some trucks and lower on others? Idk ford seemed to do odd things back then

Re: Bed ?
No it had the 64 trim it was to narrow to be the 65 trim I think they messed up when puttin the trim on originally the front of the passenger side goes up hill 1/2 inch but I think I got the body lined up pretty good
Re: Bed ?
Was the trim owner applied?

Re: Bed ?
Not that I'm aware of but it is almost 50 yrs old so who knows I measure where the trim was in accordance with the body line it was 2 1/4 inches above it everywhere except the front of the passenger side which was 2 3/4 above the line so I think I may just have to readjust the trim to where it measures out the same
