Nice build Tyler! And welcome from Northern Nevada! The truck looks awesome...btw I record the show, one of my fav's on TV these days...when I saw that you got a Slick for graduation I was thinking we might see you on this forum soon! Keep the updates coming!
So we got the wheel tubs in today just sitting in there for fitment. And had the drive shaft guy here to measure, we're gonna do a 3.5 aluminum drive shaft
Dragging wagon yes I have but I won't be able to mount in the stock location because of te body drop. I am ginna have to scoot the hinges in closer to te motor and cent of the fire wall because of the width of my tires
Sorry I was looking at a different link, I like that Idea those hinges are very nice, are you gonna be running gas assist shocks or struts to support the hood? Or do you have something else in mind?
We got all the body work done on the hood shaved off all the emblems so it is totally smooth
prolly just have a prop rod... might do something later but i honestly hate having my hood up at shows so its not a huge concern. i'll carry something with me if i need to look under the hood ( hopefully i wont!)
Well good news is i did receive my roll pan and my tail gate skin, i have to say i am more the pleased with the fab work of grants customz!! its gonna look so badass, with the roll pan and the tail gate all molded into one and not having any seams, and the indent on the tailgate skin is not as deep and dramatic as the original tailgate, so it looks a lot cleaner and smoother, i will post some pictures up tomorrow.
Glad they worked out for ya, looking forward to seeing it . I saw Brettly got a litte show time on his truck it looked nice , a real clean stocker............... for a chebby
Have you decided what motor you are going to use, I just got a 1966 f100 custom cab for my 16th birthday it has a 289 and c4 from a mustang for now sense i have to drive it everyday i am waiting to customize it. I am really hoping to lower the truck not as low as yours though and might put the new 2011 5.0
