This build thread is a teachable moment.
Folks, I can guarantee you that this man has had several "moments of Zen" before he started this project.
Incredible workmanship and incredible vision as to what he wanted in the finished product.
Overkill, I'm in awe of your craftsmanship and planning. And I'm betting its NOT your first rodeo. Can't wait to see the end product.
Uncle Skip
I'm not arguing with you. I'm just explaining why I'm right.
Pardon me. Does your deaug bite?

Thanks guys!
So after many hours of bustin my a$$ I was able to take the truck for a drive. My intent was to make it to a local rat rod show that was it town, didn't make it. The engine lost oil pressure after a few miles, I'm thinking the pick up tube that I modified cracked or broke. :(

the tailgate will be webs so you can see the suspension thru it while your driving behind it. im shaving all trim and moldings. Im thinking of doing an intake set up that will come out of the hood and resemble spider fangs. the paint is going to be flat black with red pinstripe flames everywhere

The 302 that came in the truck was on its last leg, so I got a new long block.

The trucks been rolled and some one tried to split all the seams. I'm guessing to try and replace them with a donar top section. So with the rust in the floors, the mangled up sheet metal and the f'd up seams its cheaper to just replace the cab. I can get one from DVAP for 600, besides it will come with hood hinges windows and all window hardware, which I need anyways.
