Windshield washer pump sources

Post by 66camperspecial »

Does anyone know if a original looking washer pump can be purchased at a parts store instead of the specialty companies,I am going to convert my 55 Ford car to a electric washer pump and want one that looks somewhat old. I want to use a 60s car or truck bag and pump.

Macs has what I need,a 58 to 60 T bird bag that looks identical to the 55 bag but its made for a electric pump and the pump from a 61-6 bird that looks like the same pump for a truck.

I looked online at Napa and O'Reilly's Auto, and neither of them carried the OE style washer pump.

All I could find at the local parts stores was the generic plastic looking pump.
